We have been on Maui for over 25 years providing commercial, portrait and wedding photography and videography services. We use professional grade Nikon and Canon digital cameras as well as off camera lighting when necessary that allows us to greatly expand the creative possibilities. Everything we shoot is in a high-resolution digital RAW format. The images are edited, converted to JPG image files, then posted on a private online gallery or released to you on a DVD or via a private download link, or both. We always have one photographer and one assistant at each photo session. These are much more than "snapshots."

Choosing The Best Maui Family Photos

During the typical Maui family portrait photo session we can shoot anywhere from 200-400 images depending on the group. That gets edited and the final count will vary considerably, but most of our customers are generally surprised at how many great printable pictures they end up with. It's almost always over 100 and sometimes exceeds 300 pictures. We advertise a one hour shoot, but if things are flowing and the energy is good, we'll keep making pictures until the batteries are exhausted or we have reached an obvious stopping point.

Any image can be converted to black and white or sepia toned at your request free of charge. There in no charge for travel to any West or South Maui location.

Our approach in general is to find a great scenic location with a postcard view and then put YOU in the picture. Early mornings and late afternoons are best. We like to capture a combination of posed family groupings as well as some shots with movement and maybe even some candid images. We use flash when needed, but also shoot a lot of natural light when conditions allow. There is no extra charge for any combination of your family groupings or multiple families that we can assemble. We are happy to set up individual portraits as time and light allow.

Once everything is edited, we post the pictures on a viewing and ordering website (usually within 24 hours) with all kinds of helpful features including the ability to crop and make adjustments to any of the images prior to ordering. It's a very sophisticated, yet simple to use interface. Orders take just a few days to receive depending on your shipping preferences. Satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

We also offer individual files as well as the entire high resolution series from your Maui family portrait gallery on a DVD or direct to your computer via a private download link. The individual files are $25 each and the entire Maui family portrait gallery series is only $595 plus tax. Everything is Copyright Released for printing in any size and quantity at the location of your choice. Canvas prints are also available in just about any size.

Family Portrait Pricing Options

We offer several simple pricing options starting at just $195. Each option includes 1-hour of on-location photography with a professional photographer and assistant.

Our photographers will shoot every possible family grouping or individual portraits as requested. There is no additional charge for multiple families.

We have four photographers and 6 assistants on staff, so we are very flexible on times and dates but it's always best to book as early as possible to insure availability.

1. Order Prints & Files Online - $195 This full one-hour photo shoot includes professional photographer, assistant, editing and private online gallery for ordering prints and downloading files. There is no minimum order and no time limit on how long the gallery stays online. (See print pricing below)

2. Own The Image Files - $595 This full one-hour photo shoot includes a professional photographer, assistant, editing, private online gallery, and all of the edited pictures fully Copyright Released to you via a private download link directly to your computer. (If you choose option #1 for $195, you can still purchase all the image files at a later date. That fee is an additional $595 plus tax. You save approx. $200 when you opt for the image files in advance with package #2)

3. Senior Portrait Packages - $195 All of the unedited images (proofs) for a full one-hour photo shoot are posted online for your review. Post production fees are quoted separately at $90/ hour based on your selections from the unedited series. Once the selected senior portrait pictures are edited, they are reposted for print ordering or digital downloading.

4. Behind The Scenes Video - $150 A memorable behind the scenes video (unedited) of your Maui photo shoot. This is shot with a small handheld or tripod mounted Kodak Zi8 camera (or equivalent) by our assistant during the session. All the unedited files are released to you via a private download link directly to your computer. The entertainment value is priceless!

5. Pictures On Disc - $25 In the event you would like your pictures mailed on DVD (in addition to the download link), simply add $25.00 per disc: Includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail.

6. Unedited Images - $495 This full one-hour photo shoot. Includes professional photographer and assistant. This is a great value for other photographers and image professionals. The entire unedited series of RAW images is Copyright Released to you via a private download link.
